Clearwater- Mary Louise Stockhaus, age 91, ret. USD 264 custodian, passed away Thursday, January 30, 2020.

Mary Louise Stockhaus was born on Sunday, September 23, 1928 in Bethpage, Missouri. She was the only child born to her parents, George Russell Brock and Bessie Collings Brock. She received her elementary education in Bethpage and moved with her family to Neosho, Missouri in 1940. She was a 1946 graduate of Neosho High School.
In 1947, she moved to Wichita, KS, where she later met her future husband, Karl Emil Stockhaus. They were united in marriage on May 14, 1955 in Wichita. They made their home in Wichita until 1967. At that time, they moved to their new home in Clearwater.
Louise was a devoted wife, mother, and homemaker, working part-time as a custodian for USD 264 from 1970-1983. She began working full-time in 1983, retiring in 1993.
Louise was a member of the First Baptist Church in Clearwater. Traveling and Square Dancing were her two favorite pastimes.
Louise is preceded in death by her husband, Karl; parents, George and Bessie (Collings) Brock. Survivors: sons, Steven (Jevlyn) Stockhaus, Jay Stockhaus, all of Clearwater; daughter, Tammy (Mark) Jackson of Wichita; grandchildren, Lance Stockhaus, Marissa Holliman, and Alex Jackson; great-grandchild, Pyper Stockhaus.
