Preceded in death by parents, Robert Yates Sr. and Hildegard (Epple) Yates; brothers, Robert Yates Jr. and Michael Yates. Survivors: wife, Patricia (Parker) Yates; daughter, Jennifer (Daniel) Tebben of Laurel, MD; son, Jeffery Yates, Seattle, WA; grandsons, Jacob Parker Tebben, Joshua Yates Tebben and Isaac Woods Tebben.
