Peck-Charles M. Kerley--born 4/27/1923, passed away Tuesday December 8, 2020. Charles was a veteran of WWII and retired from the USCG and Beech Aircraft.

Charles was born on Friday, April 27, 1923 in Manhattan, KS, to his parents, Carl Marion Kerley and Mamie Marie (Garretson) Kerley. He served in the US Navy from 1943-1946, followed by serving in the USNR (US Navy Reserves) from 1943 - 1948. He then transferred to US Coast Guard and served from 1948 -1965, retiring in 1965 with the rank of EMC (Electrician's Mate Chief Petty Officer). He served in WWII, Korean War, and Vietnam. He then went to work for Beech Aircraft for 15 years. Charles was a member of Belle Plaine Masonic Lodge for 50+ years. He was also a member of the Wichita Consistory and Sumner County Shrine Club.
Charles was united in marriage to Patsy Lou Marshall on August 11, 1965 in Wichita, KS, at University United Methodist Church.
Charles enjoyed reading, traveling, and taking care of his family.
Preceded by his parents, Carl and Mamie Marie (Garretson) Kerley; sisters, Rose Ellen Heitman and Lila Colleen Heitman. Survivors: wife, Patsy (Marshall) Kerley; daughter, Sarah Kerley, of Wellington; several extended family members. In lieu of flowers, Memorial: Future’s Unlimited, Inc, 2410 N.
