Anita was born on Wednesday, November 2, 1927 in Wichita, Kansas, to her parents, Harold E. and Lucille R. (Carter) Tyson. She was united in marriage to W.S. "Pat" Patterson on December 16, 1956 in Clearwater, KS.

Preceded by husband, W.S. "Pat" Patterson; parents, Harold and Lucille Tyson; sons, Harold Girrens and James Patterson; daughter, Sharon K Walker; sister, Harriette Schramm; brother, Garrett Tyson.

Survivors: daughter, Linda Mauk of Wichita, son-in-law, Paul Walker of Sutton, MA; 8 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, Memorials: American Diabetes Association, P.O.
