Derby -  M. Kathryn (Sharp) Parvin, age 82, manager for Vulcan Chemical credit union, passed away Wednesday, July 10, 2019.

Visitation, Friday, July 12th, 12-3pm, at Shinkle Mortuary, Haysville, followed by visitation with family present 5:30-7pm, at Derby Church of Christ, 225 N. Derby Ave.

Services, 11am, Saturday, July 13th, at Derby Church of Christ.

Kathryn was born on Sunday, May 16, 1937 in Ash Flat, Arkansas. She was united in marriage to Thurman Dale Parvin on December 31, 1955 in Batesville, Arkansas. 

Preceded by parents Guy and Opal (Horton) Sharp; daughter, Nancy Cardwell; brothers, Travis and Steven Sharp. Survived by husband Thurman; daughter, Brenda (David) Tipton of Maumelle, AR; son, Jeremy (Kelly) Parvin of Deland, FL;  sisters, Hildred Johnson of Ash Flat, AR, Minnie Martin of Memphis, TN, Kay Heintz, Maxine Seiwert both of St. Louis, MO, Paula Romine of Ash Flat, AR; brothers, Dale (Lynn) Sharp, Jack (Ginger) Sharp all of Jonesboro, AR,  Jesse (Melinda) Sharp Beebe, AR; sister-in-law, Ann Bergkemp; grandchildren, Matt (Jenny) Tipton of Charlottesville, VA, Tyler Tipton of Little Rock, AR.
