Rebecca Gannaway Booth, age 50, of Spring Lake, NC, formerly of Clearwater, KS, passed away Thursday, March 7, 2013.
Memorial Services, 1pm, Saturday, March 16, 2013, Webb-Shinkle Mortuary Chapel, Clearwater.
She is preceded in death by her father, Evert Gannaway. She is survived  by her husband, Lenny; children, Brandon, Lindsey, and Nicholas; mother, Betty Gannaway; sister, Terry(Steve) McMillen; brothers, Michael (Bobbie) Gannaway, and David (Wendy) Gannaway, all of Clearwater. Glenn Eugene Hartman, 69, passed away on Sunday evening, February 17th, 2013 

 

at his home in Peck, KS.  He was born on June 27th, 1943 in Holton, KS to Elmer “Joe” and Nellie Hartman.  

 

 

 

Glenn grew up in Holton, KS.  He graduated from Holton High School in 1961.  After high school, he attended Washburn University in Topeka, KS and graduated with a bachelors degree in political science in 1968.  Glenn had a long career in the Wichita aerospace industry with Exacta Aerospace being his home for the last 5 1/2 years.  He enjoyed his work and the many friends he made there.

 

 

 

Glenn is survived by his best friend and wife, Jean Ann Hartman.

 

 

 

Glenn was an avid and life long golfer who enjoyed playing through all seasons all over the country, completing his final round this month.  He loved animals and over the years has taken in many stray and injured and given them loving homes.  His final rescue was only days before his passing. “Peggy Sue” the Shar Pei is lucky to have met Glenn and settling in at home with Jean Ann.  Glenn also enjoyed gardening, good food, a nice glass of scotch and spending time with his family and many friends.

 

 

 

Glenn is survived by his mother Nellie Hartman Collins of Wichita, Kansas; a sister, Sharon Hartman of Wichita, Kansas; a son David Hartman and his wife Anne of Plover, Wisconsin; a daughter Heather Hartman of Fort Worth, Texas; a son Jacob Hartman and his wife Sarah of Wichita, Kansas; and a step-daughter Holly Trinque and her husband Charlie of Gulf Breeze, Florida.  He is also survived by his grandchildren, Madeleine and Nicholas Hartman; Christopher Hutcherson and Michael Robbins; Taylor, Aidan, Evan and Griffin Hartman; Chaz Trinque IV and Sailor. 

 

 

 

Glenn was preceded in death by his Father Elmer “Joe” Hartman.  

 

Visitation with family present, 5:30-7pm, Friday, February 22, 2013, at Webb-Shinkle Mortuary Chapel.

 

 

 

Memorial services to be held on Sunday, February 24, 2013 at Council Hill Christian Church, 1268 N. Seneca Road, Peck KS 67120.

Velta was born on Wednesday, May 16, 1923 in Anthony, Kansas. She was third of five children born to her parents, Oliver Isaac McMichael and Flora (Heitlinger) McMichael. She was united in marriage on Julu 17, 1947 to William Lee Maninger in Neosho, Missouri. He preceded her in death on July 10, 2009.

 

 Velta was preceded in death by her husband; parents; brothers, Melvin and Verel McMichael; sister, Olive McMichael; Survivors: children, John (Kathy) Maninger of Maple Park, IL, Linda (Daryl) Engel of Peck, Marilyn (Rick) Dinwiddie, Glen Maninger, all of Clearwater; sisters, Dolly Andrews of Wichita; 10 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren.

Arlene was born on Tuesday, September 1, 1936 in Conway Springs, Kansas. She was the third of five children born to her parents, Anthony "Tony" Nicholas Martin and Hilda Gertrude Mainz Martin. Arlene was united in marriage to Larry Knox Hefley on August 20, 1955 in Clonmel, Kansas. Larry's occupation moved them to California for several years before they moved back to Norwich, Kansas and later to Wichita. 

 

Preceded in death by her husband, Larry, on March 11, 1999; and her parents, Tony and Hilda Martin. Survivors: sons, Dwayne Hefley of Wichita, David (Cindy) Hefley of Tuscon, AZ, Daryl (Sandi) Hefley of Norwich, Devin (Joyce) Hefley of Milton; sisters, Shirley Simon, Joyce Keith both of Wichita; brothers, Gene (Elaine) Martin of Conway Springs, Gary (Judy) Martin of Clearwater; 5 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren. Lois Dunn Webb color oval-1Lois E. (Dunn) Webb, age 88, retired Boeing Methods Analyst and executive Secretary, of Wichita formerly of Clearwater, passed away Thursday, January 10, 2013. 

 

 

Visitation, 1-5pm, Sunday, January 13, 2013, with family present 3-5pm, at Webb-Shinkle Mortuary Chapel. Services, 11am, Monday, January 14, 2013 at Clearwater United Methodist Church.

Lois was born on Wednesday, August 20, 1924, near Bayneville, Kansas, to her parents, John Gardner Dunn and Lois Edna Showalter Dunn. She received her early education from rural Pleasant Plains district 58. She graduated from Clearwater High School in 1942. 

 

Lois was united in marriage to Robert Dale Webb on October 14, 1944 at the First United Methodist Church in Wichita, Kansas. To this union were born two daughters, Terrie and Michelle. They moved to Clearwater in March of 1954. He preceded her in death on January 24, 1971. On March 4, 1972, she married Richard L. Webb, at the Clearwater United Methodist Church. They resided most of their married life in Clearwater, before moving to Wichita. 

 

Lois was employed by Cessna doing office work from September 1942-October 1944. In 1945, she worked in the credit department at Town & Country Clothing Store in Wichita. She returned to Cessna in 1946. From the fall of 1947-1949 she worked in the Sales office for Marsh Steel Corporation in the Orpheum building in Wichita. She stopped working during her pregnancy with her daughter, Terrie. On March 4, 1954, she returned to work as a time keeper at Boeing until 1957. From 1957-1979, she was a secretary, and from 1979-1987, she was a Methods Analyst. She retired from Boeing on January 1, 1987 after 32 1/2 years of employment.

 

Lois was a member of the Clearwater United Methodist Church for over 50 years. She was also a Charter member of the Ladies Oriental Shrine Arami Court No. 101 in Wichita. 

 

Lois was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, and a brother, Gilbert. She is survived by husband, Richard; daughters, Terrie (Jim) Huntington of Fairway, KS and Michelle Self of Blackwell, OK; sisters, Vivian Maechtlen, and Mary Miller; brother, Wayne Dunn, all of Clearwater; grandchildren, Rebecca Winslow, Matt Huntington, Ashleigh Adamosky, and Mike Self; great-grandchildren, Jack, Molly, Kirra, and Kona.
