Genevieve G. (Burnham) Hoffman, 86, passed away Wednesday, March 3, 2010.

Visitation, 4:30-7:30pm, Friday.

Services, 1:30pm, Saturday, both at Calvary Baptist Church. 

Genevieve graduated from North High in 1943 and married Gail W. Hoffman in May of that same year.  She enjoyed painting china and was a member of the Derby "Kracked Kup Klub".  Besides china painting, Genevieve enjoyed crocheting, bowling, and farming.

In 1977 she started selling real estate.  Real Estate became a life time career for her with many awards to show for it.  Besides real estate, she enjoyed raising her 4 children and was a member of the Rose Hill PTA and the Rose Hill Bible Church.  In 1984 she began helping her husband, Gail, appraise real estate until he passed away in 2003.  

Preceded by parents, William and Nellie (Noray) Burnham, husband, Gail. Survivors: children, Larry (Marcia) Hoffman, Derby, Mark (Donna) Hoffman, McKinney, TX, Kaye (Doug) Miller, Derby, Ron (Kelly) Hoffman, Augusta; brother, Marvin Burnham, formerly of Boulder, CO; 14 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren. Memorial: Calvary Baptist Church 1636 E. Patriot Ave, Derby, KS 67037.
