Clifford G. White, age 94, of Clearwater, passed away Saturday, January 21, 2012.Visitation, Noon-8pm, Mon, w/family present, 6-7:30pm. Services, 10am, Tues, BOTH at Webb-Shinkle Mortuary.  Graveside Services, 2pm, Tues, Bethel Cemetery, Amorita, OK. 

Clifford was born April 21, 1917 in Wakita, Oklahoma. He was the only child born to his parents, William and Ellen (Cox) White. He was a proud member of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers Union. He loved to fly and was a member of the Experimental Aircraft Association. He also belonged to the Hudson Club and loved to drive his ’49 Hudson Convertible to many parts of the U.S. He was a longtime member of the Clearwater Church of the Nazarene.

Clifford was preceded in death by his parents.  He was a kind and loving husband to his wife of 71 years, Viola. He is also survived by his daughter, Sharon and son-in-law, Bill Garrett; grandchildren, Cindy Weems and her husband, Jack of Amarillo, TX, Bill Garrett and wife, Nea of Bridgeport, TX, Michelle Sackett, and husband, Scott of Oklahom City, OK;  great-grandchildren, Nathan & Sarah Weems, Joshua, Alexis, Brittany, Collin, Micayla, Elisabeth, & Christina Garrett; great-great-grandchildren, Lily, Terra and Emily Weems.
