Marlene was born on Wednesday, November 25, 1936 in Islip, New York, to her parents, Fred and Mary (Vasata) Hollamby. Her family moved to Orlando, Florida, where she attended high school. She met her future husband at the skating rink. She was united in marriage on February 20, 1959 in Orlando, FL, to Robert Maynard Jacobs. They resided in Orlando until 1968 when they moved to High Point, North Carolina with their children, Melanie and Andy. Marlene worked for Southern Bell as an operator until Melanie was born, then she was a stay at home mom until both children were out of school. She then helped Bob in the Insurance industry. Marlene loved reading. She was a great card player and loved to play games. 

She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Bob; daughter, Melanie (Steve) Wootan of Baltimore, MD; son, Robert “Andy” (Juliann) Jacobs of Clearwater; brother, Frederick Charles Hollamby, III, of Altamonte, Florida; grandchildren, Jonathan Wootan, David Wootan, Shawn Wootan, Mara Jacobs, Audra Jacobs; great-grandson, Jordan Wootan.

Mary Ann Miranowski- Beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed peacefully into the arms of our Lord on May 19, 2016. She was born on April 3, 1943 in Mitchell, SD. On August 29, 1964, she married Dean Miranowski. They settled in Wichita and then later moved to Goddard, KS. Mary Ann was a devoted wife to her husband. She loved to read, garden, and was known for her beautiful singing voice. She was loving mother to two sons, Timothy (Laurie) Miranowski and Matthew (Shelley) Miranowski. Mary Ann was the doting grandmother of Rebecca (Tyler) Laraby, Lisa, Victoria, Ashlynn, Joshua, Katelyn, Zachary, Logan, and great-grandmother of Ava Laraby. She was preceded in death by her parents Leo and Loretta (Noonan) Molumby, and twin grandsons Andrew and Benjamin. Visitation with family present at 5:30pm with Rosary following at 7pm, Monday, May 23. Funeral Mass on Tuesday at 10:30am all at Church of the Holy Spirit, Goddard.
