Wanda Marie (Carter) Mourning Bauer, Haysville, age 89, passed away Friday, December 4, 2015. Memorial Services, 11am, Saturday, December 12th, at Webb-Shinkle Mortuary Chapel. Wanda was born March 13, 1926 in Wichita, KS, the only child of William Batt Carter and Florence Bessie Giles Carter. She grew up in Protection, Coldwater, and Clearwater. She operated a restaurant in Clearwater for many years and then worked at Shepler’s in Wichita. She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband, Edward Bauer. She is survived by: daughters, Deanna Turpin of Wichita, Sharon (Rick) Tillery of Clearwater; grandchildren, Sean Obrock, Paul Turpin, Andrea Powell, Shana Obrock, Jessica Ballard, and Amber Tillery; 9 great-grandchildren.
