M. Lois “Billie” (True) Ohnemiller, age 91, retired Sears salesclerk, passed away Saturday, July 23, 2011.
Margaret Lois “Billie” True Ohnemiller was born April 10, 1920 at the family farm in Bayneville, Kansas. She was third of three children born to her parents, Clarence Woodson True and Lucille Gertrude Wolf True. She graduated from Clearwater High School.
On February 16, 1941, she was united in marriage to Ray Earl Ohnemiller in Clearwater, Kansas.
Services 10am, on Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church, Wichita, Kansas. Interment 1pm, Wed, at Clearwater Cemetery.
Preceded in death by husband, Ray (died March 17, 1975); parents, Clarence (died September 7, 1980) and Lucille (Wolf) True (died December 11, 1969); sister, Modesta Hopson; brother, Wendell True. Survivors: daughters, Betty (C.T.) Chang of Bedford, TX, Lana (Doyle) Stone of Wichita; grandchildren, Eric (Shuhong) Chang, Allen Chang, Yvonne (Torin) Johnson, Wm. Mary Kay (Martin) Becker, age 75, of Clearwater, passed away Thursday, July 14, 2011. She was born on August 15, 1935 on a farm near St. Leo, KS to Joe (JP) & Philomena (Reichenberger) Martin. She grew up on a farm between Andale and Mt. Hope. On May 12, 1956, she married Charles E. Becker in Andale, KS. They lived on a crop-dairy farm near Schulte. Survivors: husband of 55 years, Charles; son, Joe of Hays; sisters, Almeda (Henry, Jr.) Marx of Halstead, Lucille “Goldie” French-Andra (Kenneth Andra) of Conway Springs; brothers, Kenneth “Bill” (Doris) Martin of Greeley, CO, Larry Lee (Myra) Martin of Hugoton, KS; sister-in-law, Genevieve Martin. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Jerelyn; sons, Gerald and Kenny; brother, Quintin Martin; sister, Naoma Winter.
