Wattenbarger George oval Rev. George W. Wattenbarger, age 99, ret. United Methodist Minister, departed this life on  Tuesday, December 29, 2015, to be reunited with his beloved wife of 73 years, Ruth, in that Heavenly Home prepared for us by our Lord Jesus Christ. George retired from full time ministry in 1982 but continued to minister and share his faith with others for the remainder of his days. Wanda Marie (Carter) Mourning Bauer, Haysville, age 89, passed away Friday, December 4, 2015. Memorial Services, 11am, Saturday, December 12th, at Webb-Shinkle Mortuary Chapel. Wanda was born March 13, 1926 in Wichita, KS, the only child of William Batt Carter and Florence Bessie Giles Carter. She grew up in Protection, Coldwater, and Clearwater. She operated a restaurant in Clearwater for many years and then worked at Shepler’s in Wichita. She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband, Edward Bauer. She is survived by: daughters, Deanna Turpin of Wichita, Sharon (Rick) Tillery of Clearwater; grandchildren, Sean Obrock, Paul Turpin, Andrea Powell, Shana Obrock, Jessica Ballard, and Amber Tillery; 9 great-grandchildren.
