Margaret “Susie” Geller, age 90, formerly of Beechcraft and Geller Plumbing, died Wednesday, July 11, 2012.
Susie had been a resident of Wichita since 1942. On July 30, 1943, she married Evert Eugene Geller in Pamona, California. She worked for Beechcraft as an inspector for seventeen years and was also employed at Geller Plumbing running the office for her husband and his co-owner. Susie was a member of Guadalupe Catholic Church until it closed in 1991. She then attended St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church in Haysville. She enjoyed playing bridge with the New Comers, Welcome Wagon, Minisa Senior Center, and the Senior Center on South Walnut.
Preceded in death by her parents, Monroe and Lizzie (Mackey) Rinker and husband Evert. Survivors: son, Darrell (Charlene) Geller, daughter, Patty (Rick) Hudson, all of Wichita; grandchildren Christina Darr, Sarah Geller, Lacy Goss, Rickie Hudson; great grandson Alex Goss. A memorial has been established with: St. Cecilia’s Altar Society, 1802 W. Grand, Haysville, KS 67060. Webb-Shinkle Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.

Wichita- L.E. Junior McCabe, age 94, retired Fireman, died Friday, July 20, 2012. Visitation with family present, Mon. from 6- 8 p.m. Services, 9:30 a.m., Tues. Jr. worked as a cement finisher from 1935 to 1945; at ATCO Sign Company 1945-1955: and worked for the Sedgwick County Fire Dept., until he retired in January 1976 as Deputy Chief. Jr. was a Sunflower Lodge #96 lifetime member (75 yrs), member of the Kansas Firefighters Museum, Int’l. Fire Chief Assoc., Past pres., vice pres. of the Peace Valley Square Dance Club. Mamie J. Pritz, age 97, of Lincolnville, Kansas and formerly of Dallas, TX, retired Legal Secretary, passed away Thursday, June 21, 2012. Graveside Service, 10 am, Monday, June 25, 2012, Lutheran Lincolnville Cemetery, Lincolnville, KS.
Mamie Johanna Pritz was born Tuesday, January 12, 1915. She was the second child born to George Henry Pritz and Mary Magdalene "Mamie" (Haefner) Pritz. Her mother preceded her in death on January 21, 1915. After graduating high school, she went on to teach in rural Lincolnville, Kansas.
In 1947, she moved to Dallas, Texas where she became a legal secretary. She held several championship titles for typing. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Dallas. In 2009, she relocated to Peck, Kansas, to live with family.

Paul Gibson Webb, 69, died peacefully in the early morning of June 15, 2012, in Hutchinson, Kansas. He was born June 24, 1942 in Wichita, Kansas, the son of William Gibson and Virginia (Aldridge) Webb. Paul graduated from Clearwater High School in 1960 and attended the University of Kansas. He served in the United States Navy from 1961 to 1965. Paul worked for the Salina Journal as Advertising Director from 1969 to 1984, he later retired as General Manager for Brown Industries Hydrogen Division. In Salina, Paul was a member of the City Planning Commission, was on the board at the Presbyterian Manor and was an elected City Councilman. He was a member of the Emanuel Lutheran Church, Hutchinson and the Hutchinson Tree Board. Paul loved his garden and was a member of the Master Gardner’s Association in Hutchinson and Salina, serving as the Past President of the Salina chapter. On November 8, 2008, he married Margaret “Margie” Joan Strommen Lundmark in Hutchinson. She survives.Other survivors include; two sons, Jeffery D. Webb and wife Denisa Krejsl of Seattle, WA and Jason P. Webb of Whitefish, MT; two stepsons, Brian Lundmark and wife Sandy of Moore, OK, and Brent Lundmark and wife Paula of Hutchinson; three brothers, Richard Webb and wife Lois of Wichita, John Webb and wife Maxine of Lawrence, William “Bill” Webb of Topeka; five grandchildren, Emil M. Webb, Killian Craig, Baylee Reade, Karstyn Lundmark and Sara Lundmark.He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Virginia Webb.
Memorial service will be 10 a.m., Tuesday, June 19, 2012, at the Emanuel Lutheran Church, Hutchinson, with Pastor Tim Carey presiding. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Clearwater Cemetery, Clearwater, Ks, with military honors conducted by the US Naval Honor Guard. Allene Rosemary (Gruber) Boyles, age 80, of Clearwater, Retired bookkeeper, passed away Tuesday, June 5, 2012, Visitation: 1 pm - 8 pm, Friday, June 8th, with family present from 5:30 pm - 7 pm. Service, Saturday, June 9th, 1 pm, both at Webb-Shinkle Mortuary.
Allene was born on Saturday, November 21, 1931 in Coffeyville, Kansas. She was eighth of twelve children, born to her parents Elmer Gruber and Francis Yolande Nance. She attended school in Coffeyville, Kansas and Andover, Kansas and graduated from Andover High School.
On October 12, 1951, she was united in marriage to Charles "Bud" Boyles in Wichita, Kansas. They began their married life in Clearwater. In 1973, they moved to Wichita and returned to Clearwater in 2008. Bud preceded her in death on Sunday, August 21, 2011.
Allene's early work life was spent waitressing at the Transport Cafe', where she met her future husband. After marriage, she assisted Bud in his business, Bud's Plumbing and Heating. She then went on to a bookkeeping position for the Sedgwick County Treasurer in the Auto Licensing Department. She retired from Sedgwick County after 33 years of service. Allene was a member of the Clearwater First Baptist Church. She was also a member of the VFW Post 881 Auxiliary and the Clearwater Business and Professional Women's Association.

Dorothy D. (Hukle) Luckner, age 91, of Clearwater, homemaker, restaurant & USD 264 cook, passed away Tuesday, June 5, 2012. Visitation, 1-8pm, Fri, June 8th, with family present 5:30-7pm, at Webb-Shinkle Mortuary. Service, 10am, Sat, June 9th, First Christian Church.
Dorothy Deane was born Sunday, June 27, 1920 in Peck, Kansas. She was the youngest of three daugters born to her parents, Lewis Claude Hukle and Myrtle Mae Whitesell Hukle.
On June 11, 1939, she was united in marriage to Charles Evan Luckner in Wichita, Kansas. They made their first home with Mr. Luckner's parents on West 87th Street South for about two years before moving to a farmhouse just north of Richmond Hill School on Tyler Rd and West 95th St. South. In 1947, they moved to an acreage and house in Sumner County, seven miles south of Clearwater, where they settled for forty-three years. Following Evan's retirement, they moved from the farmhouse to Clearwater in the summer of 1990. Evan preceded her in death on Friday, July 21, 2000.
Dorothy was a member of the First Christian Church in Clearwater. She was also a 60+ year member of Silvercreek FCE, and a member of Bayneville Grance #1810 and several Bridge Clubs. She was a former member of BPW until it folded and was a Missionary Treasurer in the church for many years. Dorothy enjoyed playing cards, quilting, and embroidery.
Preceded in death by her parents, Lewis Claude Hukle and Myrtle Mae (Whitesell) Hukle; her husband, Evan; son and daughter-in-law, LeRoy and Sallye Luckner; sisters, Louise Stevens and Mary Ruth Heitman; great-grandchild, Jessie Ewertz.
