 Ralph Louis Engelken, age 82, ret. U.S Naval Officer, passed away Monday, October 30, 2017. Memorial Services, 11am, Saturday, November 18, 2017, Immanuel Lutheran Church. He was born June 16, 1935 in Alva, OK to Louis H. and Ella H. (Kletke) Engelken. He graduated from high school in Lambert, OK, attended Northwestern State University in Alva where he received his bachelors in Chemistry and Biology. Ralph served 21 years in the U.S. Navy, retiring as LCDR in 1978. In 1956, Ralph married Florence Landmann and they had two children, Roger Scott and Tammi Michelle. Florence passed away in 2008, and in 2009 Ralph married Patricia Wagner Callaway. Ralph loved his Lord, his Country and his Family. He and Pat enjoyed traveling to visit family members and sitting outside birdwatching. Ralph was preceded in death by his wife of over 51 years, Florence; a daughter, Tammi M. (Engelken) Hamilton; his parents, Louis and Ella (Kletke) Engelken; and brother, Ernest Engelken. Survivors: wife, Patricia Ann (Wagner) Callaway-Engelken, of Wichita, KS; son, Roger S. Engelken, of Erie, CO; step-children, Mark (Diane) Callaway of Wichita, KS, Kim (Dave) Duncan of Valley Center, KS, Kay Stewart of Derby, KS, Kathy (Terry) Srader of Wichita, KS; brothers, Robert (Ruth) Engelken of Chico, CA, Walter (Jane) Engelken of Houston, TX; sisters-in-law, Marcy Engelken of Alva, OK, Rita (Butch) Porter of Cherokee, OK, Joan Wagner of Kansas City, KS, and Velma Landmann of  San Francisco, CA; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, and other relatives and friends. Bruce was born on Wednesday, April 14, 1948 in Wellington, Kansas, to his parents, Wayne Harold McIntyre and Josephine (Corr) McIntyre. 

He was united in his first marriage to Anna Louise Rothrock on February 16, 1968 in Wellington. She passed away on July 18, 1997. Bruce met and married Deborah Diane "Debbie" (Taylor) Widner on April 15, 1999 in Wellington. 

Preceded in death by father, Wayne H. McIntyre; first wife, Ann. Survivors: wife, Debbie; children, Lauree Young, of Augusta, Mike McIntyre, Greg McIntyre, Bob McIntyre, Drew McIntyre, all of Wellington, Chaney Kraft of Clearwater; step-son, Chris Widner of Bristol, VA; mother, Josephine McIntyre of Wellington; brothers, Bob McIntyre of York, NE, Kent McIntyre of Wellington; 19 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild.

age 62, passed away, at home Sunday, October 8, 2017.  John was born August 28, 1955 to Mike and Marge (Slater) Nelson.  John was employed at Rockwell Collins as an avionic technician for 43 years.  He married Connie Wittman in 1997 and they have four children.  John was preceded in death by his mother.  He is survived by his wife, Connie Nelson; children, Micah, Rebekah, Lydia, and Anna Nelson of the home; sons, Justin (Kris) Sweet, Colorado Springs, CO, Calvin Nelson, Wichita; daughter Sarah (Jared) Simon, Rose Hill, father Mike Nelson; sister, Jill (Craig) May, 4 grandchildren. Barbara was preceded by her parents, Clifford and Hazle (Eubanks) Lough; and sister, Beverly Read.
