Clearwater-Cotton, Gregory K., age 59, retired Vulcan R&D, passed away Monday, April 21, 2014.

 

Visitation, Wednesday, 9am-8pm, w/ family present 5:30-7pm at Webb-Shinkle Mortuary Chapel.

 

Services are scheduled for Thursday at 10:30am at Webb-Shinkle Mortuary Chapel.

 

Greg was born on March 8, 1955 in Wellington, KS.  He was the fourth of six children born to parents, Leon and Mildred (Gilges) Cotton.  

 

Greg was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Phillip Cotton; grandson, Ethin Cotton. He is survived by his sons, Heith (Sara) Cotton of Peck, Chase (Heather) Cotton, Ty (Kristin) Gerberding, all of Clearwater; siblings, Carol (Paul) Clark of Clearwater, Steven (Barbara) Cotton of Viola, Kay (Jerry) Harris of Clearwater, Dana (Robert) Fitzsimmons of Winfield, MO; sister-in-law, Jeanine Cotton of Wichita; grandchildren, Austin Cotton, Hayley Cotton-Dewild, Cayden Cotton, Kyler Cotton, Kira Gerberding, & Kylie Gerberding.

Williamson Carol oval Carol A. (Sisson) Williamson, age 78, of Clearwater,  retired Elementary School Teacher, passed away Sunday, April 13, 2014.

 

Visitation will be 9am-8pm, Tuesday, with family present, 5:30-7pm at Webb-Shinkle Mortuary.

 

Services are scheduled for 10:30am, Wednesday at the First Christian Church.

 

Carol loved to raise flowers, loved nature, and reading. She was a long time Sunday School teacher and taught grades K-2, 4th, & 6th, but mostly 5th grades in Clearwater, Viola, and Wichita schools.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Agnes (Ramsdale) Sisson; sisters, Helen Brehm, Elizabeth O’Keefe, and Louise Gann. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Hugh “Red” Williamson; daughters, Cindy (Dave) Packard of Topeka, Wendy Williamson of Wichita, Barb Williamson of Topeka; brother, Edgar Sisson of Winfield; sister,  Jean Kaufman of Medicine Lodge; grandchildren, Jenna (David) Stone, and Chris Packard.

Allie loved animals and coloring, enjoyed school, and was very generous.

 

She is preceded in death by her grandfathers, Glenn Nelson and Wayne Thimesch.
